Private spending in Healthcare

Norwich Union Healthcare supported a recent report produced by the Institute of Public Policy Research (ippr) called 'Private Spending in Healthcare' which considered a broad range of issues relating to the involvement of the private sector in various areas. An abridged report was created highlighting the key messages and proposing considered answers to how the debate may be resolved.

PR Focus - Health of the Workplace 2

Employers, employees and GPs were surveyed for Norwich Union Healthcare's latest 'Health of the Workplace Report', which examines why workplace health costs UK businesses around £13bn a year, with issues like employee sickness absence and ageing workforces at the forefront. It also explores the nature of 'Duty of Care'.

Incentivising employer investment in Healthcare

Norwich Union Healthcare sponsored NERA, an economics consultancy, to examine the case for incentivising employers to invest more in workplace health and rehabilitation. Read the report, "Sharing the cost - Reaping the benefits: Incentivising return to work initiatives" and their recommendations.

MJA

The Medical Journalism Awards (MJA) have been running for 17 years and are a chance for journalists to be rewarded for the crucial part they play in educating and informing.

Every year we receive a high standard of journalism with varied stories from genetic babies to MRSA. We are privileged to have our entrants judged by such a high calibre of judges and we thank them for the contribution they make towards the Medical Journalism Awards.
