However, there are many things to consider when you're choosing an equity release product and your home needs to meet our property requirements, so the calculator should be used as a general guide only.

Are you eligible?

You'll need to establish whether you're eligible to apply for equity release.

For our Lifetime Mortgages:

• The youngest applicant must be aged 55 or over.
• Your home must be worth more than the minimum property value, which is £75,000.
• The property must be of standard construction and located in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
• If you occupy the property with your partner, you must apply for a joint plan. If you're applying as a couple, you'll need to input the age of the youngest borrower as the 'age of applicant'.

For the Home Reversion Plan:

• The youngest applicant must be aged between 65 and 80.
• The property must be of standard construction and located in England or Wales.
• Your home must be worth more than the minimum property value, which is £75,000.
